Ensuring Leadership Results in Student Progress

"Ensure your leadership results in student progress consistent with the school's mission and curricular goals." is the first standard within the STANDARDS OF PRACTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PRINCIPALS. To achieve this I help teachers make use of data by initiating data protocols such as the SRI's ATLAS Data Protocol and by visualizing data through a stoplight method that allows teachers to quickly and easily see which students are struggling in particular areas, and which students are in need of extended learning. I do this through the lense of my school's mission and vision and always ensure that when working with data we quickly review our mission statement.
