The fourth standard of practice for international teacher leaders is: "Design and facilitate team processes for the use of assessments and data to support student learning."
When working with department chairs, I encourage the staff to frequently look at student data to make informed decisions about their practices and planning. I do this by implementing data protocols. The protocols help to remove bias from the interpretation and to focus on actionable steps. Below are just some of the protocols that I have help to implement.
