Fosters Collaborative Culture in and between Professional Learning Teams

The first standard in the Standards of Practice for International Teacher Leaders is "Fosters collaborative culture in and between professional learning teams, with a focus on student learning, collegiality, trust and respect." This is why as a teacher leader, coach, or curriculum coordinator I never think of my self as "the sage on the stage" or the leader from above looking down, but rather as the "guide by one's side" there to help.
